Trigyn optimistic about growth post securing 18 million dollar SAP deal

Established in 1986, Trigyn Technologies, is an IT MNC with 1,500 employees deployed in 25 countries across India, North America, Europe, Canada, Africa and the Far East. The company provides a range of IT-based solutions, including staffing, consulting, systems integration and managed services.  

The Chairman and ED of the company R Ganapathi, recently took over as the Sr VP of SICCI as well. In an interview, the executive gets talking on the way forward.  

For the half year ended on September 30, 2018, the company on a consolidated basis achieved growth of 22 per cent with a turnover of Rs 401 cr compared to Rs 329 cr in the previous year.  For HY-1 of the FY 2018-19 Earnings after tax turned positive as compared to the previous year with threefold growth. The total expenses surged by 22 per cent during the current period at Rs 363 cr against Rs 298 cr in the previous. “We are satisfied with our progress so far, but we do realise the company has far more potential what is revealed by its quarterly results. As one of the legacy IT companies of India, we are listed in both BSE and NSE,” said Ganapathi. He is confident growth in domestic business will be significantly higher and the international business will perform marginally better. “Next year, we expect the figures to reflect a better performance,” he added. 

The $18 mn SAP contract win is one of the key wins the company achieved recently. Ganapathi remarked, “A few of the new disciplines where we will be concentrating resources are AI, cybersecurity and leveraging blockchain. With the projected growth, we are looking at increasing our manpower.”
