TCS former exec Ravi Viswanathan is CEO of TVS SCS

Viswanathan, who will report to R Dinesh, MD, will take on the role of CEO-JMD of the company from April 1, 2020. He joins TVS Supply Chain Solutions from TCS where he was, until recently, the Global Chief Marketing Officer. He is a distinguished alumni from REC (now NIT) Tiruchirappalli and has lived and worked in India, the US and Scandinavia. Over his thirty-year career at the Tata Group, Ravi Viswanathan has built and led multiple business units and P&Ls at TCS, in addition to establishing a strong TCS brand and the capabilities to support their global clients.

Dinesh said, “With his multi-faceted career at TCS, Ravi brings the experience of creating a truly global Indian business, working across industries, clients and cultures. The Board believes he is the right person to take TVS Supply Chain Solutions forward, as we build a globally integrated, and technology-driven supply chain solutions company.”

“The Board also recognised the contribution of S Ravichandran, DeputyManaging Director, who has laid the foundation for TVS Supply Chain Solutions over the last 25 years, and who will continue as Director and Advisor to the Company,” he added.
