Networks firm to offer internet in rural TN, Pondy

CHENNAI: The city-based FoFo Networks is planning to provide Internet service in the name of ‘dnet’. The attempt is to provide internet service to the interior of TN and Puducherry villages at affordable cost. This is to ensure the village people can utilise the communication facility for their betterment. The private limited company has P Senthilnathan as one of its main directors. dnet is using only top notch manufacturers’ product for its technical use like Tejas (Tata Product) for OLT and ONU, HP servers, Cisco servers, Mikrotik Routers. dnet plans to use distributors, local cable operators and direct customers with attractive incentives, a release said. dnet plans to offer net connection and IPTV (Internet Protocal TV). OTT channels will be add on at affordable prices.
