TMC continues its stronghold in West Bengal

As we reach the three-hour mark in the counting, Trinamool Congress leads in 24 LS seats in West Bengal. It is followed by BJP with 7 seats and Congress in 3 seats. 

• TMC candidate and sitting MP Abhishek Banerjee is leading in Diamond Harbour constituency over his nearest rival BJP's Abhijit Das by a margin of 96,507 votes.
• Shantanu Thakur is leading in West Bengal's Bongaon seat over TMC's Biswajit Das by over 5,389 votes.
