Amala Paul’s Aadai certified ‘A’ by Censor Board officials

Amala Paul’s Aadai directed by Rathna Kumar of Meyaadha Maan fame has been certified ‘A’ by the Censor Board. Sources say that the makers didn’t want to compromise on the message that they wanted to convey to the audience and hence settled for an ‘A’ certificate.

The first look poster of the film was released by Rana Daggubati, which took the internet by storm. In the poster, Amala Paul was seen crying for help and is bleeding and bruised.


The hard-hitting poster created curiosity among the audience. Tipped to be an intense thriller, Aadai’s release date will be announced by the makers soon. The film is touted to be a dark comedy and Amala doesn’t have a pair in the film. Produced by Viji Subramanian, Aadai’s music is composed by singer Pradeep Kumar’s band Ookga while the cinematography is by Vijay Karthik Kannan. Meanwhiile, Amala Paul is also working on yet another film titled Cadavar in which she plays the role of a forensic expert.
