The film was supposed to be directed by debutant Sri Karthik and was initially planned to go on floors in March. Now, we hear that the project has been stalled as Vijay Deverakonda has walked out of the film citing date issues. Speculations are also that all is not well between the makers of the film and the actor as the project was delayed for no reason. However, a source close to the team said, “Deverakonda opted out of the project as he got busy with his Telugu commitments. Now, the makers of this film are on the lookout for a replacement and they will be making an official announcement on this soon.” The film is touted to be an action entertainer, and major portions of it were planned to be shot in Chennai.
Vijay Deverakonda is currently shooting for his upcoming film in France. He is also waiting for the release of his multilingual film, Dear Comrade, which has Rashmika as the female lead.
