GVM teams up with Varun for a thriller

A source close to the team says, “Ishari Ganesh wanted Gautham Menon to do a film under his home banner. GVM agreed for the same and has even finalised Varun, Ishari Ganesh’s nephew, as the lead. It will be a crime thriller and major portions of it will be shot in the exotic locales of Europe.” Speculations are also rife that the film might be titled Joshua: Adhyayam Ondru, reminding the audience the title of Gautham Menon’s project with Thalapathy Vijay, which was announced more than a decade ago. “An official announcement will be made post the release of Dhanush’s ENPT. Other cast and crew are yet to be finalised,” the source adds. Actor Varun was earlier part of films like Oru Naal Iravil and Jayam Ravi’s Bhogan. He has also signed a couple of films which will be announced in the coming days.
