Sethupathi, Kajal Aggarwal in talks for Awe sequel

We hear from reliable sources that the director has approached actor Vijay Sethupathi to play the lead role in the film. A source says, “Prashanth wanted Sethupathi to play a pivotal role in the film. However, the actor is yet to sign on the project. Kajal Aggarwal has already listened to script and has agreed to be part of it. Other cast and crew are yet to be finalised.”

Awe featured actors like Kajal Aggarwal, Esha Rebba, Nithya Menen, Avasarala Srinivas, Priyadasrshi and Devadarshini in crucial roles. The film is about a person suffering from multiple personality disorder. It recently won the National Award forBest Makeup and Best Special Effects.
