‘Even a single frame with Vijay anna is worth a lifetime’

“I am on cloud nine. I lost for words to express on how it feels to act alongside Vijay anna in Lokesh Kanagaraj’s project. When Lokesh approached me, I immediately agreed to be a part of the project. It is not about how good the role is or what screentime I will have in the film. Even a single frame with Vijay anna is worth a lifetime,” an elated Shanthnu told DTNext.

The actor will be joining the movie pooja along with the cast and crew in a few hours. “I am getting ready for the film’s launch in the city. Apart from that I cannot talk much about my role in the film. I’m only supposed to reveal that I have been asked to shed some weight,” he smiled. The actor hopes that the film will be a huge learning experience for him. “To be in a film that is directed by a promising talent like Lokesh and with Vijay Sethupathi playing a prominent role, there will be quite a few takeaways for me as an actor. I will be shooting for a small portion for the film in Chennai in October. A huge chunk will be shot in another location in November,” he added.

Apart from Vijay 64 aka T64, Shanthnu has an interesting line-up to his name. “I have completed shooting for my portions in Mani Ratnam sir’s Vaanam Kottatum. Kasada Thapara, directed by Chimbu Thevan and produced by Venkat Prabhu and Ravana Koattam are also in the pipeline,” concluded the actor.
