Indian 2 crew embark on massive shoot in Bhopal
Director Shankar, along with stunt choreographer Peter Hein, is shooting a massive action sequence with over 2,000 junior artistes, which is being made at a budget of Rs 40 crore.

The team of Kamal Haasan-Shankar’s Indian 2 has completed its brief schedules in Rajahmundry and Sriperumbudur and has now moved to Bhopal. We hear from sources close to the film unit that the team is currently shooting a massive action sequence, made at a budget of Rs 40 crore. A source in the tinseltown told DTNext, “Action sequence is being choreographed by National-award winning stunt choreographer Peter Hein and will be a visual treat to the audience. Kamal Haasan hasn’t joined the team yet and will shoot for the scene in upcoming days. The schedule is being planned for a little over 20 days and Lyca has allocated a budget of Rs 40 crore only for this scene. Apart from the star cast, over 2,000 junior artistes are also a part of this sequence.”
A team of two assistant directors and stunt choreographers have been involved in the Bhopal schedule of Indian 2.
“Two teams will be working simultaneously in different locations to finish the shoot at a rapid pace. Post this the team will shoot overseas in Taiwan and Europe for a powerful flashback scene,” the source added.
Indian 2 has Anil Kapoor playing the antagonist while Anirudh Ravichander will compose the music for the film. Produced by Lyca, Siddharth, Kajal Aggarwal, Rakul Preet Singh, Priya Bhavani Shankar and Vivekh play important roles in the film.
