Jayaram joins Ponniyin Selvan in Thailand

The actor took to social media to share a picture of himself with Jayam Ravi and Karthi. Speculations are rife that Jayaram will be playing the fictional character of Azhvarkidayar Nambi in the epic film directed by Mani Ratnam.

The shoot of the film began in December and the entire team will shoot for it in February that will include Vikram, Aishwarya Rai, Trisha and Vikram Prabhu. Prabhu and Sarathkumar are touted to play Periya Pazhuvettarayar and Chinna Pazhuvettarayar respectively. Aishwarya Rai will play the role of Nandini, who plots the fall of Chola kingdom.
