Nandha to play villain to Atharvaa in his next

The actor will be seen as the antagonist in Atharvaa-Lavanya Tripathi’s yet-untitled project. Talking about Nandha’s role to DT Next, the director of the film Ravindra Madhava said, “This is not your run-of-the-mill antagonist who goes on a rage and murder people. We needed someone with a dominating screen presence and Nandha was an obvious choice for the role.” Ravindra added that Nanda was convinced with the characterisation when he narrated the story to him.

“Of late, Nandha’s choice of films have been unique. He signs up a project, only if he is impressed with the story outline. He listened to the narration and he was excited about the role,” said the director. Talking about the shooting schedules, Ravindra told us, “The film will be completely shot in Chennai and we are expecting to begin the shoot in April.” Produced by Michael Rayappan, the film will have Shakthi Saravanan operating the camera.
