Vijay on Tuesday took part in the Green India Challenge after being nominated by Mahesh Babu.
Vijay took to Twitter to share photographs of himself planting a tree sapling at his home in Neelankarai in Chennai.
In one of the photos, he is seen holding a sapling in his hand and posing for the camera. The actor also thanked the Telugu superstar Mahesh Babu for nominating him.
