What do you expect for the audience to take away from the talks?
We connect people who value ideas and love creative conversations. TEDxChennai’s key resolve is to bring people together to seek a deeper understanding of themselves and our world, and to inspire ideas and action for a better future for us all. We urge audiences to listen to people and ideas relatively outside their fields and life experiences.
Tell us about the theme of TEDx for 2019.
Our resolve at TEDxChennai this year is to explore “IF” as a space where ideas are born and take shape. We urge you to be a seeker of ideas by using it to question the status quo, to evolve and leave no stone unturned to explore the endless possibilities of life.
What kind of speakers do you seek?
They could be thinkers or doers, or both. They could be performers in the arts, have an inspiring story or life experience to share. They could be people who started innovative organisations, invented world-changing devices, created groundbreaking media, or pioneered social change. We consciously seek emerging artists, scientists, thinkers and pioneers, introducing them to the TEDx community in Chennai and in the world well before they hit the mainstream.
