Rather, it is the beginning of a new life – albeit a slightly different life believe many doctors and specialists.
At the recently concluded TANKER Foundation’s 23rd Annual Charity and Awards Nite, Kamal D Shah, Co-Founder & Director, Patient Services, Nephro Plus Dialysis Centers spoke on ‘Living a normal life despite being on dialysis’. He urged people on dialysis to try to lead normal lives and work, exercise and not allow kidney disease to make them feel as if their lives were finished. Many doctors and researchers were also given away awards at the event for their exemplary work in the field of kidney diseases.
