G Ramakrishnan, Secretary of CPI (M) said that the Court order would pave the way for canvasing. “PWF will remain strong as ever and we can still discuss about how to reach all the people so that we can regain the lost ground,” he said.
VCK, general secretary, Ravikumar told DTNext that it will help them to conduct another round of talks within the PWF allies.
“However, there will be no big change in the political strategy, as we have already completed seat sharing,” he said and added that the PWF was getting good response among the people and they would win in the elections.
Nallathambi, deputy secretary, State Youth Wing of the DMDK said that they were still with the PWF. “The youth wing is already on the field to meet the electorate. So, we will spend time in interacting with people,” he said. “We are already in touch with people and this gap will make them think twice as to which party is best,” said GK Mani, PMK president.
Other smaller parties in the fray said that “The timings will only help for comprehensive election campaigns and there is no place for forming new alliances.”
