Make Jayalalithaa birthday a gala event, says Madhusoodanan
AIADMK presidium chairman E Madhusoodanan has appealed to the party cadre at the district, panchayat union, town and branch levels to celebrate former chief minister Jayalalithaa’s 69th birthday on February 24 in a grand manner by distributing welfare measures, besides organising mass feeding programmes in their respective regions, in a press release issued here on Monday.

State ministers, MLAs, MPs and party functionaries, including those belonging to the MGR Mandram and Jayalalithaa Peravai, youth and women’s wing and students, medical, fishermen’s and agricultural cells have been asked to participate in the programmes in large numbers.
Madhusoodanan joined the camp of the former Chief Minister O Panneerselvam after the latter came out against VK Sasikala, who was named the AIADMK general secretary after the death of former Chief Minister J Jayalalithaa.
