Duo held for phone snatching in Ashok Nagar

A police team chased and caught B Vignesh (20) and J Karthik (21), both residents of Perambur. Police started the hunt for the accused based on R Sridharan’s complaint alleging that two persons on a bike had snatched his mobile phone on Thursday. 

Police collected the CCTV footage from the area and identified the bike used by the accused. When the police team was searching for the accused, they found the same bike ridden by the accused coming down towards Kasi Theatre. 

Seeing the police team, the youth abandoned the bike and started running. They ran on to the Kasi Theatre overbridge and the police team chased and caught them.
