MTC bus runs amok in city
An MTC bus ran amok late on Wednesday night and hit a car coming in the opposite direction at DGS Dinakaran Salai near MRC Nagar. In the collision, the car driver and a 50-year-old conservancy worker suffered injuries.

At 10 pm, the Broadway-bound MTC bus from Kelambakkam, which is said to be overspeeding, broke the median and hit a car coming the opposite direction and rammed a compound wall, before coming to a halt.
In the collision, the car driver Mani, bus driver Kristhudas (52) and conservancy worker Munaiammal (50) suffered injuries. A few passengers, who were travelling in the bus, too suffered minor injuries, said police sources.
