Skill development programme for aspiring entrepreneurs at LIBA

Loyola Institute of Business Administration (LIBA)’s CK Prahalad Centre for Emerging India will be hosting a month-long Intensive Entrepreneurship Development Programme for the public, on Monday.
Organised by the National Small Industries Corporation (NSIC), Government of India, the focus in on small enterprises, said a press release.
Aimed at aspirants who have passed Class 10 and above, the programme proposes to develop entrepreneurial abilities among the aspirants, offer them a platform to hone their skills, apart from throwing light upon various entrepreneur support schemes.
It will also highlight small business ventures, both in the manufacturing and service sectors.
Fully sponsored by the Centre, the programme will act as a basis for acquiring entrepreneurial skills that will help the participants to start micro and small businesses. Additionally, it will give an opportunity for the aspirants to gain an understanding on various entrepreneur support schemes from the government and NSIC.

Commenting on the initiative, Dr Siluvai Raja of the CK Prahalad Centre for Emerging India, said, “We are confident that this programme will benefit the participants and give them clarity in starting a micro and small business.
It will not only help the participants to acquire entrepreneurial skills but will also provide options for funding to start their own ventures.”
To be held at LIBA campus, the programme ends on December 23. There is no registration fee. Certificates will be provided to the participants post completion of the programme.
