Union Minister of state Pon Radhakrishnan on Thursday predicted the fall of the AIADMK government any time and appealed to the people to support the BJP as an alternative for the Dravidian parties.
Addressing a campaign meeting at Tondiarpet here, the Minister said, “There is a big question on how many days the state government will continue. It is like a crumbling tower and will fall any time. If the BJP wins from RK Nagar, it will come under the direct control of Prime Minister Narendra Modi.” Radhakrishnan said he is the only BJP MP from Tamil Nadu and the Centre had allocated Rs 1.5 lakh crore for various schemes in the state. If the party is given an MLA seat, the state would obtain many development schemes, he added.
“People expect a change and BJP is emerging as the force that brings in the change,” he noted.
