Maoist on the run for 5 yrs nabbed
The Tiruvallur police arrested a Maoist who had been absconding for five years, on Saturday. His wife and brother too have been taken into custody.

Among the three, D Dasarathan of Odappai village in Pullarambakkam police limit, has been absconding since 2003, while his wife Senbagavalli alias Kanimozhi has been in the wanted list since 2008. Dasarathan’s brother Vetriveerapandian has been arrested on the charges of helping the couple and recruiting men for their movement.
On Saturday, Tiruvallur superintendent Sibi Chakravarthy received information that the couple visit the village and alerted Tiruvallur inspector K Venkatesan and anti-naxal wing inspector P Pugazh. They tracked the couple to the Pullarambakkam junction and nabbed them from an autorickshaw. Various books and documents on Maoism, pamphlets and a laptop have been seized from them.
