Enforcement Directorate attaches realtor’s properties worth Rs 115 crore
The Enforcement Directorate has provisionally attached the immovable properties of VGN Developers in Guindy worth Rs 115 crore under the Prevention of Money Laundering Act.

The 10.46 acres of land was purchased in 2013 from Hindusthan Teleprinters Ltd, a central undertaking for Rs 272 crore, causing a loss of Rs 115 cr.
The CBI had last year filed an FIR against Leon Terattil, former DGM, SBI, Egmore, chief manager Ramodoss and D P Gupta, chief operating manager, Hindustan Teleprinters and D Pratish, managing director, VGN, as the land was sold through a private treaty.
