What is your comment on sending NEET candidates to centres in other states?

While some students may have opted for other states, most were sent against their choice. The number of centres in the state was limited to maintain some profit. Any exam that is held should be done in the interest of students and not for the profit of any conducting agency.

There are complaints of mistakes in Tamil questions. If it is true, how should they be marked?

As many as 24,720 students wrote their exam in Tamil. Due to translation issues, over 45 mistakes were reported. If it is true, the government should give them grace marks, else these students will be affected.

Doctors, activists and the public have been protesting NEET for a very long time. Where has that taken the state?

Two bills have been passed in the state already. However, they have not received the Centre’s nod yet. Despite the effort put in by many of us, the state has not taken adequate effort to get the Centre’s approval. We need an exemption in NEET for the state. If other states want the same, they must fight too. Education must not be brought under the Centre’s control.
