Govt revises toll, concession pass rates on Rajiv Gandhi Salai
The state government has revised the toll rates and concessional pass rate on the Rajiv Gandhi Salai, starting from July 1.

According to a release, the state government of Tamil Nadu fixed toll rates under the Indian Tolls Act, 1851 for various categories of vehicles using the Rajiv Gandhi Salai.
According to the new estimation, three-wheelers will have to pay Rs 9 for a single-side journey, Rs 17 for twoside (within a day), Rs 30 for a daily pass (multiple trips) and Rs 280 for a monthly pass.
Similarly, cars will have to pay Rs 27 for single side, Rs 54 to return, Rs 90 for daily and Rs 2,150 for the monthly pass.
Light Commercial Vehicles (LCV) should pay Rs 45 for a single journey, Rs 90 for return journey, Rs 120 for a daily pass and Rs 2,800 for the monthly pass. Buses have to pay Rs 71 for a single journey, Rs 140 for a return journey, Rs 210 for the daily pass and Rs 4,600 for the monthly pass.
For trucks, one-side journey will cost Rs 107, Rs 200 for return journey, Rs 310 for the daily pass and Rs 6,850 for the month. For multi-axle vehicles (MAV) Rs 213 will be collected for a one-side journey and Rs 400 for the return. For the daily pass and monthly pass, one should pay Rs 615 Rs 13,750 respectively.
