After tiff with wife drunk man kills self by touching live wire

The deceased was identified as Gunasekaran, a resident of Vidya Nagar, who was a share auto driver. 

Police said Gunasekaran used to consume drinks and quarrel with his wife often as he did not go for work properly. On Wednesday morning, Gunasekaran was sitting on the terrace of his house after consuming alcohol. Suddenly, he took a wooden log nearby and pulled the live EB wire and placed his hand on it. 

Soon the power was shut down and the 108 ambulance doctor confirmed that Gunasekaran was dead. Tambaram police retrieved the body and sent it for post-mortem.
