Two arrested for peddling ganja, 2.2 kg of narcotics seized
The Vadapalani police on Sunday arrested two people, including a woman, for peddling ganja and seized 2.2 kg of the narcotic from them.

Two mobile phones and Rs 1,800 in cash were seized from the accused A Ramu (38) and M Lakshmi (38), who are residents of Choolaimedu.
They were nabbed from Sivan koil street in Kodambakkam as they were found secretly distributing ganja in small quantities on Saturday. Both were remanded in judicial custody.
In a similar incident, the Kothavalchavai police arrested 42-year-old Alok Kumar for selling mawa tobacco and seized 150 packets from him.
