Gang of 4 held for attacking 26-yr-old
A 26-year-old man was brutally attacked in his house in Ambattur and police have arrested four persons.

The victim, Mahesh, a driver from Gnanamoorthy Nagar, was riding his bike in the locality on Tuesday evening when one of the accused, K Balachandar (32), came on another bike in the opposite direction. Though they avoided a collision in the nick of time, a fight erupted between and Mahesh allegedly abused Balachandar.
Infuriated, Balanchadar left the spot only to show up at Mahesh’s house with three of his friends — S Dinesh (22), M Sathish (23) and S Sasi (22). They brutally attacked Mahesh with weapons and fled the spot. Mahesh’s kin rushed him to Rajiv Gandhi Government General Hospital where was admitted. Based on Mahesh’s brother Manikandan’s complaint, the Ambattur police have registered a case and arrested all four suspects on charges of attempted murder. They were remanded in judicial custody.
Similarly, the Ambattur police arrested four persons for allegedly attacking lorry drivers to steal batteries from the vehicles. The incident happened on Monday night when Karmegadurai and Madurai of Tirunelveli district were sleeping on their lorries on Madhanankuppam Main Road. Four persons arrived at the spot on two-wheelers to steal batteries. When the duo confronted them, they brutally attacked the drivers and fled the spot. Based on their complaint, the Ambattur police arrested four suspects.
