In a letter wishing the new appointees, MNM founder-president Kamal Haasan said the post given to them is not a position of power but one of responsibility.
The party chief urged them to be the party’s eyes, ears and voice on the ground, while they work in service of the people.
He urged them to use the position not to advance their own self-interest, but as an opportunity to better understand the needs of the people and work towards fulfilling them.
Kamal added that the appointments will strengthen the image of the party as one that works for the welfare of the people.
The actor-politician has announced that his party will contest in the upcoming Lok Sabha elections.
