Inspector caught damaging push cart eatery on CCTV

Sources said that push cart belongs to Abdul Rahman of Royapettah, a second-year college student. He runs an eatery on Ramaswamy Street in Periamet in the evening hours.Last week, he found his push cart mangled and went through the CCTV footage in the locality. To his shock, he found Periamet Law and Order inspector Sivarajan damaging the push cart. 

The footage was circulated on social media. When contacted, the Periamet police said that the push cart was encroaching the pavement even after several warnings were given to remove it. The police claimed that Abdul Rahman is a history-sheeter, who extorts money from owners of roadside eateries. Inspector Sivarajan was not reachable for comments
