MK Stalin kicks off the election campaign from Thiruvarur

MK Stalin started the Lok Sabha election campaign from his "Sentimental" house- Thiruvarur.

The Lok Sabha election is scheduled to be held on 18th April as a single phase in all 39 constituencies in Tamil Nadu, and one from Pondicherry.

The vacant 18 assembly constituencies will also face elections along with them.

As part of the electoral process, the nomination filing of candidates have begun on Tuesday.

In this context, DMK party which supports Congress allies, will be contesting in the parliamentary election and the candidates list and the election manifesto were released by the party leader earlier this week.

Following this, DMK leader Stalin started his election campaign in Thiruvarur on Wednesday.

MK Stalin started off the campaign from his house in Sannadhi street, Thiruvarur after paying homage to his late father, M Karunanidhi.

Sources said, the campaign will cover Thirvarur district and Thanjavur district on Wednesday. MKStalin is expected to address the people in various meetings organised in the district.

The election campaign of MK Stalin will continue for the next 18 days, reports added.
