Sub-inspector dies of heart attack

Venkatesan of Anna Nagar attached to the Patabiram police station went to St Thomas Mount for special training on Friday. While returning home at night, he suffered chest pain and stopped the vehicle on the roadside and becameunconscious.

The onlookers rushed him to the Saidapet Government Hospital where the doctors declared that he had died of cardiac arrest. The Nandambakkam police registered a case and sent the body for post-mortem to the Chromepet Government Hospital.
