Woman techie ends life in Porur

The deceased, Geethu Singh from Delhi, separated from her husband a few months ago. She then developed a relationship with her colleague, Antony Merlin Raj, who is a divorcee. Both of them had decided to get married and moved to a rented house in Udhaya Nagar in Porur. When Antony returned from work on Tuesday evening, the house was locked from inside and there was no response from Geethu Singh. On suspicion, Antony Merlin Raj broke open the door with the help of neighbours and found her hanging from ceiling. On information, the SRMC police retrieved her body and sent it for post-mortem examination. A case has been registered and the police grilled Antony Merlin Raj. Preliminary inquiry revealed that there were differences between the couple and they used to quarrel often. The police suspect that Geethu Singh might have taken the extreme decision dejected over the fight with Antony. Further investigation is on.
