Railways to operate Suvidha, special fare trains to clear rush
The Southern Railway (SR) has announced numerous Suvidha and special fare special trains to clear extra rush during Deepavali.

The Southern Railway (SR) has announced numerous Suvidha and special fare special trains to clear extra rush during Deepavali.
MGR Central-Ernakulam Jn suvidha train (82637) will leave Chennai at 9.10 pm on October 25 (Friday) and reach Ernakulam Jn at 3.50 am the next day. Similarly, Tirunelveli-Tambaram special fare train (06006) will leave Tirunelveli at 9.40 pm Friday and reach Tambaram at 10 am on Saturday.
Tambaram-Tuticorin special fare special train (06005) will leave Tambaram at 7.20 pm on October 26 and reach Tuticorin at 6 am the next day. Advance reservation for these trains will open at 8 am on Friday.
An unreserved special train will be operated between Tambaram and Kochuveli to clear extra rush of passengers for the festival. Train no 06031 will leave Tambaram at 7.45 am on October 26 and reach Kochuveli at 11 pm the same day.
The train comprising 19 second class coaches would stop at Chengalpattu, Melmaruvathur, Tindivanam, Villupuram, Vriddachalam, Ariyalur, Srirangam,Tiruchy, Dindigul, Madurai, Virudhunagar, Satur, Kovilpatti, Tirunelveli, Valliyur, Nagercoil Town and Thiruvananthapuram, a statement issued by SR stated.
