Bike thief nabbed within hours in Kotturpuram

The accused, R Arul (46) of Taramani, was remanded in judicial custody. The police are investigating whether he is involved any other theft case. The bike seized from him belongs to S Sivakumar (40) of the same locality.

Sivakumar parked his bike in front of a private hospital on Rajiv Gandhi Salai (OMR). The vehicle went missing when he returned a few minutes later.

Based on his complaint, the Kotturpuram police launched a hunt for the suspect and secured him with the help of CCTV footage, said sources.
