Melania slaps Trump’s hand in public

But even before any bilateral meetings could grab attention, a video clip captured at the Ben Gurion International Airport in Lod, near Tel Aviv is going viral. As Trump and his wife, Melania, disembarked from Air Force One on Monday to begin their visit to Israel, the first lady appeared to brush away her husband’s attempt to hold her hand. 

In the footage, the POTUS is seen reaching out one hand backwards towards his wife. However, the FLOTUS did not hold it but literally swatted it away. The action, caught in a video clip, has been widely shared on social media. It is not the first time that photographs and video clips of Melania Trump’s reactions to her husband have come under social media scrutiny.
