Inspired by a true story, it will make you believe that a small gesture can go a long way and move you to tears. The six-and-a-half-minute-long ad will rekindle nationalistic fervour and make you feel proud of our culture that whole-heartedly welcomes one and all.
The ad shows flight attendant Helena meeting passenger Anandi — a senior citizen from Hyderabad — on her maiden flight to India. She helps Anandi with her seatbelt and socks, the older woman helps Helena with her hair.
Helena even comforts her when the lady tears up because she’s missing her son. At the end of the journey, Anandi invites Helena to her house for a special meal and a beautiful gift. The ad has been directed by Neeraj Ghaywan, who made Masaan.
