Going Viral: The voice of braveheart Neerja Bhanot

The film is based on late flight attendant Neerja Bhanot, who died saving the lives of passengers on board a hijacked flight in 1986. Neerja saved 359 lives including three children, even as the pilots had to leave the aircraft as per protocol. 

As part of the promotions, the makers of the film have shared a video that documents the real voice of Neerja. The 59-second-clip that has gone viral, is reportedly of her making her last flight announcement on board the PAN Am Flight 73 on 5 September 1986. 

The producers of Neerja shared a tweet along with the post, “The voice of our hero, the inspiration of a generation! #Neerja Bhanot”. The video also features pictures of Neerja which you may not have seen before.
