GOING VIRAL: Anushka packs a punch in new Sultan teaser

Salman Khan shared the teaser on his Twitter page, wishing his co-star Anushka. He captioned the teaser, “Happy Birthday to my Sultani Arfa #SultanKiJaan @SultanTheMovie @AnushkaSharma,” and it went viral in no time with netizens heaping praise on Anushka’s fiery presence. While the first teaser was all about Salman, the second features Anushka in a never-seen-before avatar, playing the fierce wrestler Aarfa.

 It first shows Anushka doing some household work and then she is seen doing pull-ups. However, the most exciting part of the second teaser is when the actress knocks down a male opponent inside the ring. Anushka, who has built up the desired physique to suit the character, perfectly captures the nuances of the sport in the intense wrestling shots. 

Another interesting part of the new teaser is Salman’s voiceover in Haryanvi accent as he introduces Anushka as “Haryana ki sherni and Sultan ki jaan.” Yes, Salman Khan who plays the character Sultan Ali Khan begins the introduction by calling the ledeej (ladies) as the soul of this country. Then he speaks of his jaan or rather say Sultan Ki Jaan . Directed by Ali Abbas Zafar, Sultan will present both Salman and Anushka as wrestlers.
