Pinarayi Vijayan to be sworn-in as Kerala Chief Minister tomorrow

CPI (M) Politburo member Pinarayi Vijayan will be sworn-in as the Chief Minister of Kerala on Wednesday.

The oath taking ceremony will be held at the Central Stadium here at 4 pm. According to party sources, the chief minister designate, Pinarayi Vijayan, will hold the Home and Vigilance portfolio.

CPI (M) leader Thomas Issac is tipped to be the new Finance Minister. CPI(M) Central Committee member EP Jayarajan will hold Industries and G Sudhakaran will be in charge of Public Works, A K Balan, Local Self Government, KK Shylaja, Health and Family Welfare, C Ravindranath, Education, Kadakampally Surendran, Power, TP Ramakrishnan, Excise, J Mercykutty Amma, Fisheries and Labour, AC Moideen, Corporation, and KT Jaleel, Tourism and Minority Affairs.

CPI(M) State Secretariat member MM Mani has been elected as the party whip and party state committee member S Sharma was made the Parliamentary party leader.
