He has accused ADGP B Sandhya , director VA Shrikumar Menon and producer Liberty Basheer, along with his wife Manju, of conspiring against him. Dileep has alleged that ADGP Sandhya switched off the cameras when he spoke about the relationship between Manju and Menon during his interrogation.
According to him, Manju talked about the alleged conspiracy during the solidarity meet of AMMA (Association of Malayalam Movie Artistes), which was held a day after the attack on the actress, just to drag him into the case.
Meanwhile, Justice Sunil Thomas posted the matter to next Friday for hearing the version of the prosecution in the case. The court had dismissed his earlier bail application on July 24 after finding that the probe into the case was progressing and the mobile phone, which the prosecution stated as a key evidence in the case, had not been recovered.
The actor in his fresh plea submitted that the scenario had completely changed and that he was not the kingpin of any criminal conspiracy or even a participant in it. The petitioner also contended that he was not the perpetrator of any criminal offence.
