Utkal Express derails near Muzaffarnagar, at least 4 dead and 60 injured
Several people dead and 20 people were injured as at least six coaches of the Puri-Haridwar Utkal Express derailed in Khatauli near here this evening, officials said.

ADG (Meerut Zone) Prashant Kumar said the number of injured persons was yet to be ascertained. However, eyewitness said at least 60 people were wounded.
Railway spokesperson Anil Saxena said that four people had died in Muzaffarnagar train derailment.
Two NDRF teams, comprising of 45 personnel each along with two canines were mobilised to the accident site from their base in Gaziabad.
Railway ministry officials said they are still awaiting details of the accident that took place around 5:45 pm.
Uttar Pradesh Chief Minister Yogi Adityanath has directed all possible help.
MoS Railways Manoj Sinha rushing to the accident spot said Union Railway Minister Suresh Prabhu.
Television visuals show derailed coaches have crashed into a house.
Local administration officials have reached the spot and rescue operations are underway, officials in Delhi said.
The derailment is likely to affect movement of trains on the busy Northern Railway route.
