"We resumed the service and all trains will run as per schedule," a railway official told UNI.
He said first train run started from Badgam-Srinagar in the central Kashmir to Anantnag-Qazigund and Banihal in Jammu region early this morning.
Similarly, trains are running from Banihal to Srinagar as per schedule, he added.
There was no disruption in train service between Srinagar-Badgam and Baramulla in north Kashmir, he said.
He said railway authorities are acting as per advisory from the civil and police administration.
Train service has become very popular for all those who are travelling from north to south or to Banihal as it is being considered safe, cheap and fast against other mode of transport available in the valley.
