PM leaves for Bishkek to attend SCO meeting
This will be the first time PM Modi and Imran Khan will come face to face after months of tensions between the two countries.

Prime Minister Narendra Modi on Thursday left for Bishkek in the Kyrgyz Republic to attend the Shanghai Cooperation Organisation Council of Heads of State meeting on June 13-14. During his two day visit, the PM will take part in various multilateral programmes and also meet world leaders in separate bilateral meetings.
Pakistan Prime Minister Imran Khan will also be attending the summit. This will be the first time PM Modi and Imran Khan will come face to face after months of tensions between the two countries, which began with February 14 Pulwama attack on a CRPF convoy in which at least 40 jawans were killed.

15:00 hrs - Arrival at Manas International Airport, Bishkek
16:50 hrs - Bilateral Meeting with President Xi Jinping of China
17:30 hrs - Bilateral Meeting with President Vladimir Putin of Russia
18:30 hrs - Informal Dinner hosted by President Sooronbay Jeenbekov of Kyrgyzstan
22:00 hrs- Bilateral Meeting with President Ashraf Ghani of Afghanistan
