It was an early morning. Khanna was getting ready for his office when his wife informed him that their house help won’t be working for 2 days. When he asked why, she informed him that she was going to visit her granddaughter as it was the child’s birthday. When Khanna’s wife decided to give Rs 500 to the house help, Khanna was not very happy. But then, he agreed to his wife’s decision. After a couple of days, Khanna asked the house help, “Did you have a good time?” She replied, “Yes Sir, I spent whole Rs 500 in 2 days,” and she went on to explain the many little things she bought. Khanna was lost in thoughts that how she bought something for everyone in her family. He realised something that day.
Moral: We have a right to spend our hard earned money as we like. But, if you feel you had wasted the money, you have a chance to do something of a greater good for someone.
