Batting first, Vijay CC, riding on Baba brothers Aparajith and Indrajith’s 97 and 87 along with Vijay Shankar’s 96 posted 390 in their first innings.
Malolan Rangarajan chipped in with a useful 52 batting down the order. In reply, Jolly Rovers were staring down the barrel at 95/4 but skipper C. Hemanth Kumar and Robin Bist put on a 138-run partnership for the fifth wicket.
However, once the two batsmen were back in the hut, Rovers lost their way and folded for 377. Spinner Rahil S Shah shone with the ball for the winners with impressive figures of 5/85.
