After a group training session, 100 kids were later handpicked by prominent coaches, allowing them to hit it out with the players. Paes and Bopanna shared tips on how to think like champions. Officials from Guinness World Records were present to monitor and record the entire effort and to ensure that all stipulated rules and regulations were followed.
They will now send the details to their head office who will evaluate the data and confirm a new record. The previous record of 803 kids being taught tennis at the same time, which is acknowledged by the Guinness World Records, was set in 2015 in Liverpool, United Kingdom.
