Hyderabad whip Tamil Nadu

Opener Tanmay Agarwal struck a 49-ball 85 to lead Hyderabad to a comfortable 72-run win over Tamil Nadu in their Syed Mushtaq Ali T20 South Zone Cricket Tournament at the MA Chidambaram stadium on January 30.

Batting first, Hyderabad, led by former TN stalwart S Badrinath, ran up 165 for five in their 20 overs with the 21-year-old Tanmay striking 12 fours and two sixes. Badrinath gave adequate support with a 26-ball 34. The Tamil Nadu batsmen could not cope up with the asking rate and folded up for 93 in the last over.
