Narrow wins for City Police, Loyola
Chennai City Police defeated Vadipatti Raja Hockey Academy 4-3 in the Indian Bank State level hockey tournament at the MRK Stadium here.

Kartish (14th minute), Mohad Faiyaz (20th), Vignesh (36th) and Gowtham (61st) scored for Police while Sudershan (7th and 39th) and D Suresh reduced the margin for Vadipatti Academy.
Later, Loyola College, Chennai prevailed over Income Tax Recreation Club 6-5 via tie-breaker after regulation time ended 2-2.
Nagarjun scored both goals fo Loyola while Nijandan and Sivamani were on target for Income Tax. Saravanan (2), Thiagu and Akshay scored for Loyola in tie-breaker while Sivamani, Arun and Raghu scored for Income Tax.
