Organisers of the event said that they have been organising such special prayers for major international cricket tournaments over the last few years to make it a platform for the die-hard cricket lovers who want their country’s team to win those prestigious tournaments and bring home the trophies. This time the event is organised at 72 cities across the country.
The campaign was simultaneously kickstarted in Chennai and Coimbatore on Saturday. After collecting signatures on a banner with posters of cricketers in action, it moved to other cities. “The vehicle from Coimbatore went to Erode on Sunday. It will cover Salem, Namakkal and Dindigul before concluding at Madurai on Friday. The vehicle from Chennai will cover five other places in north and central Tamil Nadu including Puducherry and Tiruchy,” area sales manager of the firm M Manoj said.
